ALAVIS TRIPLE BLEND EXTRA STRONG 700G

The veterinary preparation ALAVIS™ Triple Blend 700G is intended for the regeneration of the locomotor apparatus, especially for preventive administration in foals and horses in work and sports. The preparation contains a combination of chondroprotective substances - glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate and the substance MSM, which works to strengthen ligaments and tendons, suppress inflammation and pain, and regenerate and relax muscles.

Glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate belong to the group of so-called glycosaminoglycans (GAG) and form a natural part of joint cartilage and synovial fluid. The mechanism of action of both of these substances is common and consists in chondroprotective (cartilage protecting) action. The effect includes regeneration of joint cartilages, tissues and improvement of mobility. This positively affects the health condition of the animal.

Chondroitin sulfate has a significant ability to bind water in the tissue. It thus ensures the correct function of the cartilage, its strength, flexibility and resistance.

Methylsulfonylmethane - MSM - is a natural substance containing organically bound sulfur, which is involved in the process of collagen formation, strengthens ligaments and tendons, and has a relaxing and regenerative effect on muscles. MSM is involved not only in reducing joint painv, but thanks to its antioxidant and detoxifying effects also for breaking down damaged joint tissue. To suppress pain, it is advisable to use MSM also in post-traumatic and post-operative conditions, where better wound healing has also been found. MSM has an analgesic, anti-inflammatory, vasodilating and anti-edematous effect. It also has its application in the removal of muscle pain, muscle spasms and also tendon pain.

Collyss® - type I collagen in the highest quality - found in highly stressed structures such as tendons and ligamentous cartilage. It is resistant to tension and is therefore very important for the strength of the tendons and thus also for the strengthening of the musculoskeletal system. This collagen is also found in bones and skin. Collagen type I Collyss® is a patented, purified collagen hydrolyzate obtained from marine fish cartilage.

Cartidyss® - type collagenIIin the highest quality - it maintains the shape of the cartilage and prevents its deformation. Type II collagen is part of hyaline and elastic cartilage and is resistant to pressure. Cartidyss® is a purified collagen hydrolyzate obtained from oyster cartilage.

A racehorseis exposed to a high load on the musculoskeletal system. Especially show jumping horses, where the joint system is very stressed during jumps. This can lead to wear and tear on the joint system. Over many years of experience, many horses with various musculoskeletal problems have tried joint nutrition. The most important thing is prevention. And that systematic training, responsible warm-up and forstretching before training, respecting the horse's performance capabilities, training after training tracks from different mixtures, ensuring ideal flexibility under the hooves. Horses should be avoided on hard dry ground. Feeding must be proportional to the phase of the training cycle in order to maximally cover the nutritional needs of the horse.
